Application Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Provide advanced application support for semiconductor metrology systems; work closely with customers to build models of complex applications by developing menus and feature-based functionalities.
2. Be familiar with material models, perform analysis and processing of metrology data, and resolve customers’ process issues.
3. Write relevant technical reports, provide higher-level application support to field service engineers, and take charge of customer training and product demonstrations.

Job Requirements

1. Master’s degree or above in physics, optics, materials science, microelectronics, or related fields.
2. Development experience in C and Python.
3. Strong logical analysis skills, along with strong learning and summarization abilities.
4. A high sense of responsibility, good communication skills, and teamwork capability.
5. Experience in signal fitting/solving, optical scatterometry modeling, as well as a background in integrated circuit process, equipment, and materials, is preferred.
6. Experience in semiconductor equipment is preferred.
